Columbia Club of Spain. The session will be led by Dr. Iñaki Berenguer,
Managing Partner of LifeX Ventures, a $100M VC fund focused on improving
and extending the lives of people and the planet.
The event will take place on Thursday, 30th May, at the Boston Consulting
Group, C/ Alcalá 95, 28001, Madrid. The admission fee for the event will be 10€.
Please, note the session will be conducted in Spanish and there will be ample
opportunity to ask questions and network in English as well.

The alumni clubs of Columbia Business School, Columbia University, and Stanford
University are excited to invite you to an engaging session with Dr. Iñaki Berenguer,
Managing Partner of LifeX Ventures, a $100M VC fund focused on improving and
extending the lives of people and the planet.
Iñaki, who is a 3-time CEO/entrepreneur in NY, launched LifeX Ventures in 2022 to
invest at the intersection of AI and Health, and has a number of international
companies in its portfolio including Haven, Cortical Labs, Ohai.ai, Cromatic, Onc AI
among others (full list can be found here.)
Iñaki’s talk will focus on how AI can help improve people’s lives and how he evaluates
investment opportunities as a venture capitalist in this space. This will be followed by a
Q&A session from the attendees and a networking cocktail.
The event will take place at the premises of the Boston Consulting Group in Madrid,
to whom we express our gratitude for their kindest hospitality.

When: Thursday, May 30, 2024, 7:00-9:00pm. The session is informal and drinks and
light snacks will be served.
Where: Boston Consulting Group, Alcalá 95, 28001 Madrid.
Price: 10 euros (to cover for a present to our guest speaker).
Guests: Alumni may bring up to two guests to this event at the price stated above
each. The guest’s email address and name/last name are also required during the
registration process for building security purposes. Guests will receive confirmation
email of their signup.

IÑAKI BERENGUER’S BIOGRAPHY

Iñaki is currently a Managing Partner at LifeX Ventures, a new $100M fund
investing at the intersection of AI and Health.
He has been a 3x CEO/entrepreneur in NYC: Pixable, acquired by SingTel in 2012
for $30M; Contactive, acquired by Fuze in 2015; and CoverWallet, which raised
$60M, with over 500 employees and close to $1B in premium revenue, and
acquired by Aon in 2020. He has worked at McKinsey & Co and Microsoft
Corporate Strategy. He has personally invested in over 100 startups, also
cofounding Agentero and iPronics.
Iñaki earned Master and PhD degrees in Engineering from the University of
Cambridge, and an MBA from MIT. He was also a two-year Fulbright Scholar at
Columbia University and a postdoc at the Cambridge-MIT Institute. He is a 15x
marathon finisher (7x NYC).
