Dear Alumni,
You are all invited to «University Bing Overseas Studies Program» immersion in Madrid. A
program for Stanford Undergrad Students, led by Prof. Almendra Staffa-Healey, Pedro Pérez
Leal, Stanford Director in Madrid and Claudia Sánchez, Academic Coordinator.
This is an opportunity to explore the possibility of offering internships or volunteer opportunities
to students enrolled in the course OSPMADRD-60 Internship Seminar: Experiential Learning
through Service and Professional Opportunities.
More details about the course:
The course requires the completion of at least 50 hours of internships or volunteer work in
person or in a hybrid format in Madrid and its surroundings. To receive credit, work must be
done in Spanish, although some English is allowed. The course is offered three times a year in
the Fall Quarter, Winter Quarter, and Spring Quarter.
Stanford seeks collaborations with companies or organizations involving Stanford Alumni and
looks forward to this meeting to better explain the course and the collaboration.
